Happy Haulidays!!!:D

My Christmas goodies consist mostly of Chanel, its becoming quite an obsession. I got the Holiday quad which i find pretty difficult to work with and the colors not very complimenting for my yellow undertone and dark hair. The majority of the colors have a pinkiness to them and its pretty annoying. Next i got the Tweed Fuchsia, which is absolutely a must-have, its breath taking. I thought it would be too bright on me, but its not. And its buildable. It also doubles as a highlighter and photographs beautifully. The next two items are from the Chanel summer collection and are limited edition. I hunted around and found them at some stores lol! Bondi Lipstick, and Nouvelle Vague Nail Polish yay!!! Im soo glad i didn't have to order them off ebay!! Next i wanted a matte bronzer and i've finally fell in love with Hoola. During the summer its too light, and i like a little shimmer. But right now its perfect. Got Flowerbomb, a lil baby w a large refill, just because i can be a little fickle with fragrance. A T3 curling iron which i am loving, its helping tame my wild mane which is a work in progress. And lastly found at a CCO, Frankly Fresh from the Mac Liberty of London collection. I really LOVE the consistency of the other two i have which are English Accents and Perennial High Style. They are really creamy with no sparkle. This one is creamy, but it has a shimmer to it so its a bit stickier and dryer consistency, but i still love the warm nudey color.

*Snow Princess*:D

Ebay is my best friend, and yet my worst enemy. Perusing along, the words Snow Princess caught my eye. The description holds for me fond memories of when i was little and was in the Nutcracker ballet for a few Christmases. The words together of Snow Princess form a magical correlation that sends my mind into fantasy land, and if there is a Snow Princess this is the nail polish that would imbibe her. Its silly really, but i do think that makeup and fantasy go hand in hand. With makeup you're altering the appearance of something, and providing an illusion that distorts reality. Anyways... i cant wait to try all the colors, i love essie mini sets. The winter collection should be next on my list:)
From left to right: Pink Glove Service, Guchi Muchi Puchi, Ballet Slippers, & Blanc.

NOTD: Chanel Coromandel, love it. When i make a top 10 this makes the list.

FOTW: Burberry Brit

Rummaging through TJ Maxx the other day, i found my new favorite fragrance - Burberry Brit. All they had was this purse spray box, but i thought it was pretty neat, i've never seen it before. It comes with the neat canister and three refills for $30, originally prolly over $60. I like this perfume because its light, but a little spicy. Not overly feminine, sophisticated, in fact it smells almost like a men's cologne only the vanilla and sugared almond sweeten it up. Its a fresh, oriental, woody fragrance, all my fav catagories. "The Burberry Brit girl embodies the playful British spirit of individuality. She's outrageous, but always charming and unpredictably sexy. Fresh and playful, this fragrance is a classic, green-oriental blend of lush fruits, sweet nutty essences, and soothing amber, vanilla, and tonka bean. This Burberry fragrance epitomizes modern day British style." Top notes are fresh and playful with blends of Italian lime, icy pear and crisp green almond. Heart notes are sweet and sexy through scents of sugared almond and lush white peony. Dry down notes of warm amber and mahogany mix with the calming characteristics of vanilla and tonka beans.

Good Night!

LOVE this color!!! Chanel Rouge Noir, sorry about the blurry pic, my camera sucks. Too bad Chanel nail colors chip so easily, i have a base coat and top coat and it chipped within the day:( I was checking around for a nail polish to compare it too and i think the closest is OPI's Suzi Says Da!, from the Russian Collection.

A Bit of a Haul:)

Yes!!!! i got it, the Chanel Christmas nail gift set. A bit of a splurge, but i had a discount and this item is extremely rare!! My store only got two! In it contains three discontinued colors none of which are sold separately anymore. Gold Lame, the infamous gold color Lorraine Stanick goes on about. Coromandel, the vintage red, just got removed from the counters. I tried that one on and thats what made me have to have this set, its a gorgeous, sexy, vintage red... I can compare it to OPI Off With Her Red, from the Alice in Wonderland collection. And lastly Rouge Noir, available in the Rouge Coco lipstick collection. But i was told this color was never released in the States only in Europe. Its a deep garnet color. Compareable to mmm not really sure:{
Next i was recommended the Clinique Acne line to try for my troubled face, not sure how i like it yet. Picked up some foundation finally to start my collection, Mat Lumiere, its not my fav but its pretty good, i like Vita Lumiere very much but with my face being oily i wasn't sure if its a good buy. And lastly while rummaging through my CCO i picked up Relaxed shadestick from the warm and cozy collection. I just got it because i didn't have one and i thought i give it a try. Now i've been using it everyday. I love it:) Its a great base for brown eyeshadows, it makes them look so much better than the Painterly paintpot ive been using (and do not combine the two, use one or the other). I would definitely recommend this item to anyone. The color of it is pretty much like a cream version of Tempting eyeshadow.
