Mask-Scare-AHH!!! I'm in love;)

Hello ladies!!..... I've found it!! I listened to the hype and went to Sephora and purchased YSL Faux Cils. And i have to say i am impressed. My lashes look soo long and lovely and not only that the mascara has a very pleasant smell, and the packaging is gorgeous!! The volume isn't as dramatic as MUFE Smokey Lash, but that one tends to be too cakey. But two coats of this and boom, hello lashes!!
Nail of the week: China Glaze - For Audrey. I'm thinking about getting Splash of Grenadine by Essie, and also P's and Q's by Nicole. And i saw this ad for Midnight Poison, the models nails were soo neat looking it want to do it on mine! They are black with white tips and then a touch of gray at the base of the nail... eerie, but pretty.

Bronze Baby!! Park Avenue Princess:)

I have been on the hunt for the perfect bronze to complement my skin tone and is easy to work with. Well when i went into Sephora to purchase Tarte's Park Avenue Princess i was surprised to find out that they have a new formulation - Matte Waterproof!!! Oh decisions decisions.... Should i get the matte or the sparkly? Well matte won me over just because its more versatile if i want shimmer i can use a MSF. I have been using it and loving it everyday. This is my Holy Grail bronzer for sure. I use it to contour and as an all over bronzer. To apply it with a light hand i have a Mac 187se. And i adore the packaging!!!

Prada Please!!:)

Hello ladies... It took a while for me to get inspired for this week's fragrance. I was milling around the fragrance stand and remembered this lady that had to buy Prada cause she loved it so much...and i got to talking with her and we shared similar tastes. I had smelled it and liked it before but then put it aside. And the newest Prada i wasn't really crazy about, L'eau Ambree. Prada by Prada is an oriental fragrance based on amber. I didn't know i was a fan of orientals, but Coco Mademoiselle is one as well and that was my very first perfume. In the composition amber is surrounded by four main essences (essential oils): Indian sandalwood, Indonesian patchouli, French labdanum resin, and Siam benzoin.
Top notes: bergamot, bitter orange, mandarin, mimosa absolute. Middle notes: rose absolute, patchouli absolute. Base notes: labdanum, Tonka beans, vanilla, sandalwood, benzoin.
I got my first complement with this fragrance today, it could be a keeper!!

Featherweight

Hello ladies.... I'm on a mission to find a lengthening and voluminous mascara. First on my list was the MUFE Smokey Lash. This to me was a blacker thicker version of Loreal Voluminous. It looked very dramatic on because my lashes were very thick and black, but it did nothing for length:( My lashes looked caked and stubby. So next was the much anticipated, for me at least, Benefit Badgal Lash. If your looking for feathery fluttery lashes this is the tube for you!! But alas, i am not. I found I really had to work with it to get any desired effect, which was long fluttery thick lashes. It never really turned out that way unfortunately all i got was flutter.

I decided to tone it down this week and i was thinking pink!! Sephora by OPI - Dear Diary

What a Tangle!!

Hello ladies.... yes I've been trying to tame the travesty that is my hair. And yes i think Ive used most of these products at once:( I'm really trying to narrow down all of my products and go with the less is more approach;) Ok, so first off juicystar07 recommended the Got2b guardians and i should have known these weren't going to be good because she gives the worst advice ever. Don't be fooled by the cute packaging either lol... i gave these a good run and i thought i liked them at first but my hair is pretty frizzy and the blow dry protect made it even frizzier. There is also a gloss drops bottle that's small and pink, this one is supposed to be like BioSilk silk therapy but greasier. If you use too much ur hair looks greasy and if you use less it really does nothing. The one i used the most is the Curl Protect and this one does ok, but my hair still frizzes. Next Hemp Organics color treated shampoo. I love the smell and feel of this shampoo, but it didn't seem to help my scalp issue I've been having for the past couple of months. The only thing that has helped my scalp has been Phyto Shampoo for dry hair, and I've been trying loads of different shampoos. I almost gave up and i figured i would give this one a go because both lollipop26 and thecurrentcustom recommended it. So i was happy with my scalp condition, but the rest of my hair I'm not sure yet...need to do a few more washes. BigSexyHair is another brand i really like, I'm a fan of the hairspray I've repurchased multiple times and the pumpkin mask. The pumpkin enzyme shield though i could live without. And the Neutrogena shampoo i've been using once a week to get off all the product left over in my hair, i think i like this lol...

Touch of Honey - (FrOTW)

Hello ladies.....my fragrance of the week is Tous Touch by Tous. Another European, i smelled it and i kept thinking i knew this smell, it was sooo familiar. I couldn't put my finger on it. Then i took a shower and i caught a whiff of it again... this time something took hold. Lush, lol. It was something i had smelled from Lush, and the gears began to turn and half a second later it hit me. It smells exactly like Honey I Washed the Kids bar soap!! It is my fave smell from Lush and i can't believe i found the perfume counterpart. Its grouped as being floral fruity gourmand. "Fresh floral waft of freesia, lily of the valley, and lotus of the top, slide into a more intense floral heart with luscious jasmine, osmanthus and Thiare flower. The sweet fruity base brings notes of blueberry, raspberry, almond and vanilla."

Into the Blue

(OPI- What's With the Cattitude)
Hello ladies.... nothing says summertime to me then bright blue nails. I love it on me... or on anybody. This look is bright, fresh, fun, and trendy. Stick to the brights though i wouldn't go too navy or midnight blue, it doesn't have the same effect. You can go for the teals, the blue-greens, and the turquoise for more of the vintage look. My favorite colors so far this summer are OPI's What's With the Cattitude?, Sephora by OPI's Blue Grotto, Essie's Lapis of Luxury, Essie's Turquoise and Caicos, and of course China Glaze's For Audrey.

Thirsty? - (FrOTW)

How about some H2O? Hello ladies.... I decided to diverge from my usual spicy florals and delve into something lighter and fresher for summer. Tous H2O won me over. I'm not a huge fan of fresh scents they kinda make me nauseous, and the biggest seller of course Light Blue by D&G i can't stand. It smells like cleaner to me.. gag! I really don't get why everyone likes it. Tous H2O is soo much lighter and fresher. It features top notes of organic lemon, organic lavender, rose, jasmine, mandarin, and ginger, as well as base notes of amber, cedar, and Australian sandalwood. The result is a fragrance that's clean and fresh, sparkling and invigorating. For me, the citrus notes have the biggest impact here, since they add to the watery freshness of the scent. Not to mention the bottle is adorable!! Its in the shape of a multi-faceted rain drop. It is also termed an Ecochic fragrance- some of the proceeds go to purify water in ailing countries, and the bottle itself is 100% biodegradable. PS- i advise you not to drink this;)

FOTD - Bella Notte

Hello ladies... well i figured i'd just get this one out of the way:) Bella Swan's makeup in Twilight. I loved her makeup in the movie so i started researching on the internet who her makeup artist was and what products she used. This was my first bite of the addict apple. I learned it was a Mac makeup artist and she used Mac Blot Powder in Light, Mac e/s Blanc Type, Flute, and Wedge, Benefit Badgal WP Mascara, Benefit l/s Good-to-go. But that was the extent of the information... so the rest im playing by ear from watching the movie. Her skin is very light and matte with some contouring and sutle highlight. I used Nars Sheer Glow foundation, Mac e/s Wedge to contour and Benefit High Beam to highlight my cheek bones. On my cheeks i very lightly put Mac blush Angel. My eyes: Blanc Type all over the lid, Wedge in the crease, Phloof to highlight browbone. Then to line my eyes i used a silvery e/s color Gorgeous l/e. It really helps to brighten and draw your attention to the eyes, but not too sparkley just a little shimmer. I didn't have Bad Gal lash so i used Clinique High Impact mascara. You don't really want a volumizing mascara you want it to look natural. Then on my lips i used Good-to-go. Not too bad i think:)
